VOTING BEGINS: Daleview 2.0 Voting Window is Open

Daleview Community,

Greetings from the Board and the 2.0 Renovation Committee. Thank you so much to the membership for your engagement, questions, suggestions, and feedback throughout this process. We are happy to share that the voting period for the proposed Daleview 2.0 renovation project is now open. As always, as you consider your vote, if you would like to ask questions, offer suggestions, or anything, just contact us at [email protected] and feel free to visit https://daleview.org/renovation/.

You will find the link to the ballot at the bottom of this email, but we need to share some important information on the process first to make sure that you know it, so please read on and bear with us!

The Vote/Voting Period: Per Daleview, Inc. bylaws, Article III, Section 9: “The Board of Directors may not borrow more than $50,000 without specific approval of the majority of the members voting at any meeting.” This vote will either give or not give the Board of Directors that approval. To comply with this requirement, the Board is presenting this ballot today, July 18, 2025. All votes are to be recorded via MemberSplash, and voting will remain open through August 14, 2025. By Monday, August 18, the Board will officially count and certify the votes in accordance with the bylaws, determining whether the majority required for approval has been achieved.

Voting Eligibility: Per the pool bylaws, Single Member accounts are able to cast one vote, and up to 2 adults per each Family membership may vote – one time per adult. Summer Only members and August Only Pass Holders are not eligible to vote. If you have any questions about voting or these limitations, please reach out to [email protected].

How to Vote:  As noted above, this vote will be held and recorded through our membership system, MemberSplash. To vote, go to the link at the bottom of this email. You must log in to MemberSplash using your normal member account in order to vote. Once you are at that link, and logged in, you will see the ballot. Remember that all family account members log in using the same account, so if more than one adult in a household is voting, they will log in using the same username and password. Once you are on the ballot page, you will be asked to record which member is casting the vote.  The ballot has a lot of information on it, so please read it, and make sure to click the submit button at the bottom, or your vote won’t be recorded!

Changing Your Vote: While voting remains open, members may submit, or reconsider and change their votes by emailing a request to do so to [email protected]. You do not have to indicate the content of your new/updated vote in that email; simply request that your old vote be deleted, allowing you to enter a new one.

Post-Ballot Survey: Once you have submitted your ballot, a confirmation page will appear with a link to a short but important survey asking about renovation details and preferences and membership intentions. Please take a moment to complete this survey and ensure that your opinions and needs are heard.

With Gratitude,

Daleview Board and Daleview 2.0 Committee
