Looking Ahead at a Big Week for Daleview 2.0

Daleview Members & Community,

This coming week is an important one for the Daleview 2.0 process and we wanted to provide you with information about what is happening. These efforts continue our work on making sure that everyone is heard in this process and can have their questions answered.

Key Date 1: Financial Survey Deadline, Monday at 5 pm

We truly thank the more than 165 members who have filled out the survey that will help give us a better outlook on members plans and needs regarding the renovation project. If you have not filled out the survey yet and can make time to do so before tomorrow’s deadline, we really appreciate it. One response per household is all that is necessary.

Key Date 2: Financial Presentation, Thursday at 7 pm (Zoom)

The committee has gone back to our design firm, NVBlu, and received more detailed financial plans regarding the scope of the project. This is something members have requested to better understand the breadth of the redesign, and we are excited to share them with you and take your questions and feedback. The Committee will record the Zoom call and post it on the renovation website to be viewed by those who are unable to attend.

Key Date 3: Daleview 2.0 Vote Window Opens, Friday at Noon

The official vote on the proposed loan to help fund the renovation opens on Friday. All votes are to be recorded via MemberSplash. Voting will remain open through Thursday, August 14, and the Board will certify the vote by Sunday, August 17. While voting remains open, members may submit or reconsider and change their votes by emailing a request to do so to [email protected]. You do not have to indicate the content of your new/updated vote in that email – simply request that your old vote be deleted, allowing you to enter a new one. By Sunday August 17th, the Board will officially count and certify the votes in accordance with the bylaws, determining whether the majority required for approval has been achieved. On a question this important, the Board wants at least 75% of eligible voters to vote. Per the pool bylaws, Single Member accounts are able to cast one vote, and adult members of  Family Memberships  are able to cast 2 votes–one per adult. Key Date 4: Daleview Board Mid-Summer Meeting, Sunday (July 20) at 4 pm

The Mid-Summer Meeting has annually been a venue for the Board to provide updates to members on happenings around the pool and grounds, and to take questions. In addition, members of the 2.0 Committee will be on hand to give an update and also take any questions/feedback from members attending the meeting. There will also be the opportunity to get assistance with voting if you would like it.
