Daleview Pool “How to Cast Your Vote” FAQs

Daleview Members & Community,

As of last Friday, the voting period for the Daleview 2.0 renovation is open!  There has been a great response since Friday – more than 20% of corporate accounts have already cast a vote. Thank you to everyone who has voted, connected with us, or checked out the materials in the emails and on the website; this is a really important decision for the future of our pool community, and we want to make sure that everyone gets all the information they need to make up their mind, vote, and make their voice heard – because this pool belongs to all of us.

To that end, we want to make sure that everyone is able to access the ballot and vote, and no one gets stuck or confused in the process. So, please see below for some FAQs on voting and the important post-ballot survey. If you have any questions that are not addressed in this, just reach out to us as always at [email protected].

Where can I find the ballot?

The ballot is on the Daleview website, at https://daleview.org/renovationballot/. There is a button to access the ballot on the Daleview homepage, as well as on the renovation page, and the link is also on the pool’s WhatsApp feed. You’ll complete and submit the ballot on the website – no need to print anything out. But please note, you have to be logged in to your member account in order to see and complete the ballot!

But I can’t remember my member login, what do I do?

If you are struggling to find or remember your username, we want to make this as easy as possible for you – so the username associated with your email address is listed right below! Remember that everyone in your membership has the same username, so it might not be your email address – but don’t worry, it will get you access and on the ballot you will be able to select the name of the member actually casting the vote.

If you can’t remember your password, go to the “Log In” page on the website and look for the “Retrieve username & password” in the log in box – you can reset your password there. If none of that works, you can email the membership team at [email protected], and they can look up your username and/or reset your password.

NOTE: After you log in, you may not be on the renovation ballot page anymore. Just navigate back to https://daleview.org/renovationballot/ and you should see the ballot.

I’ve heard there is a “post-ballot” survey. What is it?

Once you submit your ballot, the confirmation screen that pops up will include a link to a post-ballot survey, which is a very important part of the process.  The Board and committee are using it to collect information on your pool design preferences and membership renewal intentions so that we can plan the path forward that best serves our community and keeps our membership strong. It is separate from the ballot because it is not an official vote, but the information in it will be central to developing the path forward. So please complete the post-ballot survey! If you already voted but did not complete the survey, we will send the link out to you soon so that you can get another chance to do so.

I voted already, but I’ve changed my mind and want to change my vote.  Can I change my vote?

Yes! You can change your vote as many times as you’d like as long as the voting period is open. To do so, just send an email to [email protected]. You do not have to indicate the content of your new/updated vote in that email or explain why you are changing it; simply request that your old vote be deleted, allowing you to enter a new one.

Am I eligible to vote?

Per the pool bylaws, adults who have a Single Member account are able to cast one vote, and up to 2 adults per Family membership may vote – one time per adult. Dormant Single Memberships and Dormant Family Memberships are also eligible to vote, in those same numbers. Summer Only members and August Only Pass Holders are not eligible to vote. If you have any questions about voting, these limitations, or your specific eligibility, please reach out to [email protected]. If you submit a vote that is not eligible per those policies, it won’t be counted – but we will make every effort to reach out to you about it so that it can be counted if at all possible.

When will voting close?

The voting period will be closed at 11:59 pm on August 14, 2025.

When will the results be announced?

After the voting period is closed, the Board will take a few days to verify that all votes are eligible and will announce the results by August 18, 2025.

Thank you again for your engagement and commitment to the Daleview community, and thank you for voting. We all care deeply about the present and future of Daleview, and we are so grateful to you for joining this process and making your voice heard.

With Gratitude,

Daleview Board and Daleview 2.0 Committee
