May 2025 Update

Greetings Daleview Community,

Since our last update just after the new year, the Daleview 2.0 Committee has made significant progress and we are excited to share a brief update. Our committee of dedicated volunteers is working hard to replace the existing pool and create a pool that will serve the membership for generations to come.

Here is a look at the steps we’ve taken since our January update:

• The D2.0 team and the Daleview Board of Directors have worked on the potential of the pool redevelopment so that it aligns with membership visions around culture and pool experience for decades to come.
• We have hired NVBlu as our design+build firm for the project. We have had multiple discussions with them to nail down a look and feel for the pool and grounds, and we look forward to sharing those materials with you in a few weeks. The committee leaned heavily on the member survey from last fall to guide our decisions on how the pool and grounds can best serve the membership now and in the future.
• Our engineering firm, Clark Azar, is continuing its work scheduling land and facility surveys of the property (per county regulations) and helping the committee prepare documents for permitting and approval.
• The Finance team has met with commercial lenders to learn about our financial options, to forecast how the development will be funded, including a mix of loans, member dues, and assessments. We still anticipate the overall cost of the project to be between $2.5-$3.25 million, with adjustments to be made based on county regulations, design considerations, etc.
• The D2.0 committee will have a station setup near the snack bar this summer where committee members will have materials to give out regarding the pool project and welcome questions and feedback from members.
• We will continue to update membership regarding the renovation through emails, printed materials, and on Daleview’s website: https://daleview.org/renovation/.

We remain confident in our schedule to present our vision for the renovation by the middle of June. We anticipate having numerous sessions (both at the pool and in small gatherings) to educate members on the project and there will be a member-wide vote on the renovation on or about the time of the Mid-Summer Member Meeting on July 27.
