Want to have a party at the pool?
If you plan to get together with friends and invite a lot of guests, we ask you to complete the form below. This form is a tool for us to manage capacity and appropriate staffing. If any “party” has more than 20 guests, an extra guard must be scheduled for the duration of the party. Therefore, the Party Request form gives our pool manager the information needed in advance to estimate and schedule appropriate lifeguard staffing.
Remember, a “family membership” may bring up to 6 guests per day. A “single membership” may bring up to 4 guests a day. Note: these limits are per membership, not per member. If your membership unit would like to bring more than the max number of guests per day, please complete the form below.
Please read all of the info below carefully, before you fill out the form, so that you fully understand the process. If you have any questions please email [email protected].
Process for reserving a party
- Please view the events calendar by clicking here and choose a day and time that does not have another event listed.
- No more than 2 parties will be approved each day. Additionally, parties will not be approved for the same time period.
- No parties will be held on federal holidays or holiday weekends (Fri- Mon) Memorial Day, 4th of July and (Fri—Mon) Labor Day. No parties will be scheduled during Daleview swim team meets or Daleview social events.
- Parties will NOT be allowed during week nights when Montgomery County Public Schools is in session as we have a lack of staffing capacity during those times (the majority of our guards are high school students).
- Fill out the below form to request a date and time. This form must be submitted at least 10 days before your party date.
- Your party will either be approved or denied based on the date and time you choose. If you choose a date and time that does not overlap other events it should be approved. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis and subject to board and pool manager approval.
- Approval: you will receive an email confirming your party was approved. You should also see it appear on the event calendar.
- Denial: If denied, you will receive an email with the reason for the denial and another date can be chosen.
Reservation Terms
- Parties may be 7-30 people (max party size)
- If a party has 20-30 guests, additional lifeguards must be scheduled in advance. If the party size is under-estimated and the pool does not have proper staffing on site upon arrival, party guests will not be permitted to swim. (Please make sure you have the most accurate guest count when making your request.)
- You must conclude your party at the time in your request. Parties must end 30 minutes prior to the pool closing for the day.
- Guest fees are $8 per guest per day. Payment is expected at check-in with check or credit card (NO cash will be accepted). Guests fees are not refundable due to inclement weather.
- A $50.00 fee will be charged to your pool account if you cancel within 3 days of the scheduled party date.
- Host members are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Party guests must be met by an active member at the sign-in desk and escorted to party area. Party guests must follow all Daleview rules and procedures. Party guests must leave Daleview when their Daleview member (host) departs from the pool.
- For parties with children under 10 years old, there must be at least one (1) adult chaperone for every five (5) children. The host is responsible for inquiring and determining whether any of the guests are not water-safe and such children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult in the water at all times. Chaperones are required to accompany non-swimmers in the water. To be water safe, a child must be able to swim one length of the pool and be able to tread water for sixty seconds.
- Be considerate of other members and only use picnic tables to eat. Large parties of 20+ must use picnic tables near pizza oven during peak
periods (Fri/Sat/Sun lunch and dinner time). Use of grills and picnic tables are based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Glass containers are NOT permitted on pool grounds. - The host must ensure that no alcohol is consumed by persons under 21.
- Host must leave the pool area in the condition in which it was found: litter-free, decorations removed, all trash put in container and all tables and chairs returned to their original positions.
