Swim suits

Daleview has a team racing suit, with the Daleview Feet logo, available for purchase from Capital Sport and Swim in Kensington, Maryland. All swimmers are encouraged, but not required, to buy the team suit. Because the swimsuits get lots of use they tend to wear out quickly, so check not just for size, but for thin, stretched fabric when deciding whether your child needs a new suit.

Suits will be available at Daleview for fitting and ordering Tuesday, May 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Orders must be accompanied by payment, by check made out to Capital Sport and Swim.

Racing swim suits use a sizing system that does not directly translate into clothing sizes. For example, a small child might wear a size 22 swim suit. If you are not familiar with swim suit sizing, we encourage you to have your child try on a suit before ordering one. If you would like to order a suit, but cannot be at Daleview for the try-on, contact Capital Sport and Swim, 10558 Metropolitan Avenue, Kensington, MD, 301 949-7366. You can try a suit on at the store, or order a suit over the phone with a credit card.

To the Parents of the Glorious Feet.

Please pay the swim team membership fees immediately. It would be nice not to have to utilize volunteers to swim after everyone.

Daleview Swim Team ListServe 

The Daleview Feet now have a Yahoo listserv. The listserv will be used to keep track of all things planned (with handy automatic reminders sent straight to your mailbox on the whens and wheres of all meets, pep rallies, spaghetti dinners, etc.) as well as just-in-time messages to inform you when plans change, such as practice being called off due to a thunderstorm.

These are just the things that I can think of, I'm sure that there are others...imagine using the listserv to ask questions, compare experiences, discuss the pros and cons of the Feet logo, learn why I am better than you, etc. Please note that the listserv will be moderated to circumvent spam, enforce civility when needed, and to fill out my cv.
