Team Swimsuit

The Daleview Team has an official swimsuit, solid black with Daleview's "FEET" logo in gold. All team members are encouraged, but not required to wear the suit at meets. Suits can be ordered by a designated swim team parent or directly through the Team's swimsuit supplier. A sizing try-on is coordinated the first weekend of practice at the end of May. The cost of the swimsuit is not included in the team fees and the team does not profit from the purchase of the suits.

FeetGear

The Feet have a strong tradition of wearing their colors, black and gold. FeetGear is available at all meets, first weekend of practices, and selected events during the season. Usually the FeetGear includes hats, t-shirts, shorts, bags, and cover-ups. The Gear changes from year-to-year based on fashion trends, customer demand, and suggestions from the swimmers. A volunteer parent coordinates and sells the FeetGear. Proceeds' from the purchase of the gear is returned back to the team and is considered a team fundraiser.

Big Foot Little Foot

Big Foot Little Foot is a team tradition that matches an experienced swimmer with a younger swimmer. It allows all the swimmers to know each other in the age groups and creates a bond for the swimmers through their Feet career. The Big Foot/Little Foot activity is held during Friday morning practices. Donuts are involved!

Pep Rallies

Pep rallies are held on Friday evenings at the pool. Commencing at approximately 6:30pm, they may include cheers, sign making, spirit activities, bonfires, marshmallows, and special guests are usually invited.

Cheers

The Feet have always been considered a highly spirited team in the League. Cheers are a big part of the Feet tradition and heritage during the past 50 years. The older swimmers are the leaders of the cheers for the team, continuing the tradition from one generation of swimmers to the next.

Meet Caravans

Team members and their families may meet at Daleview Pool (in the parking lot or on the street) before each meet to decorate themselves and their cars before traveling to the away meet. Times for the caravan staging and when the caravan departs Daleview will be posted with the weekly meet information and will be strictly enforced.

Friday Field Trips

Friday afternoon activities may be planned during the season. This traditionally included bowling, movies, museum visits, and ice cream parlor visits. These activities need to be planned, coordinated, and staffed by parent volunteers. These activities are not sanctioned social events of the team and are not intended as child care alternatives.
